The seed producer who intends to apply for Authorization and allotment of Code No. to new processing plant shall fulfill the following requirements :
Application Form duly filled in shall be submitted to the Director, TSSCA, Hyderabad through the concerned SSCO along with requisite fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director & Member Secretary, TSSCA payable at Hyderabad.
The requisite fee shall be Rs.5510/- i.e., Rs.10/- towards cost of Application Form and Rs.5500/- towards Registration fee for Authorization and allotment of Code No.
The initial registration of Processing Plant and the Code No allotted shall be valid up to end of 3rd calendar year from the date of registration.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Gram Panchayath / Pollution Control Board as the case may be.
External Photograph of the Processing Plant along with Name board.
Photograph of the stock board displayed in the Processing Plant.
Photographs of all the machinery / equipments installed as per the checklist.
There should be provision for keeping advance tagged seed lots.
There should be separate accommodation for SCO for keeping records, tags etc.,
The Processing Plant shall be personally inspected and certified by the concerned SSCO/CSCO for authorization.
The machinery installed should be in working condition.
Renewal of Seed Processing Unit
For extension of validity period of Seed Processing Unit the seed producer shall apply to the concerned SSCO before expiry of validity period duly enclosing copy of the previous certificate issued by the SSCO.
The Renewal fee shall be Rs.2710 i.e., Rs.10/- towards cost of application form and Rs.2700/- towards renewal fee.
The Processing Plant will be renewed for further period of three calendar years.
If the producer fails to renew the Processing Unit within the grace period of one month after the expiry of validity period, such plants will not be renewed further and the producer has to again apply for Authorization and new Code No by the Director, TSSCA.
